Who can join?
Children from Inwood Hollow and surrounding neighborhoods are welcome to join! All swimmers participating on the Dolphins team must be from 5 to 18 years old as of June 1 to join the team. A swimmer’s age for the entire season is determined by his or her age as of June 1 of the current season.
Swimmers are not required to know any strokes to join the team - the coaches will teach them! However, swimmers are required to stay afloat safely in the pool unassisted.
What are the costs?
Registration Fees for the 2026 season are:
Resident: Swimmer #1: $145, Swimmer #2: $135, Swimmer #3: $125, Additional Swimmers: $0 each. Swimmers age 14 - 18: $90. Discount provided to USA Swimming Club athletes.
Non-Resident: Swimmer #1: $160, Swimmer #2: $150, Swimmer #3: $140, Additional Swimmers: $0 each. Swimmers age 14 - 18: $90. Discount provided to USA Swimming Club athletes.
Water/Soda Contribution (required): $14/First Athlete. $10/Second Athlete (Maximum Charge of $24 per family)
* Fees include 1 team t-shirt and swim cap.
* Fees DO NOT include the team swim suit. (See info below on team suit.)
What uniform and equipment is needed?
- A team t-shirt and swim cap will be provided for every swimmer.
- A team suit is suggested to purchase for swim meets. Swimmers may wear any suit for practices. Swim suits are one piece for girls and a jammer (knee length) for boys in royal blue.
- Goggles are highly suggested. Tinted goggles help as the kids will be swimming in the sun.
- Kick board
- Swim fins
Team suits and other equipment will be available at our Swim Team Open House. After the Open House date, team suits may be purchased at SwimFreak. They are located at 2250 Thousand Oaks Dr., Ste. 206, 78232 or online through SwimOutlet.com.
Do parents need to volunteer?
Yes. Our swim team is run entirely by volunteers (other than our fabulous coaches!) and we require each family to complete 35 points of volunteer effort.
