The Noah “Seby” Sebastian Cullum Memorial Scholarship
INFORMATION: The Noah “Seby” Sebastian Cullum Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Dolphin swimmer that exudes Seby’s personality and character. As a spirited competitor, he loved to learn and train. He was a loyal teammate who enjoyed having fun and supporting those around him. In his honor, the Inwood Hollow Dolphins will award one scholarship to a swimmer who displays similar characteristics. The scholarship will be equivalent to the cost of registration for one season. It will be awarded at the end of each season to a current Dolphins swimmer and will provide for the registration fee of the following year’s season. The scholarship is a one-time award and is not renewable. The Scholarship will be offered for 10 years beginning in 2022 and extending until 2031.
CRITERIA: The applicant should be an Inwood Hollow Dolphin swimmer who exhibits a strong character, leadership, sportsmanship, and team spirit through the following characteristics:
- A desire to compete.
- A willingness to learn and better oneself.
- A need to lift others as a supportive teammate.
- Been faithful in attendance at practices and meets.
AWARD PROCESS: The Inwood Hollow coaching staff will nominate a qualified swimmer based on the criteria. The Inwood Hollow Dolphin board will have a final approval of the recipient. The recipient of the scholarship will be announced at or around the LSSSL Championship Meet.
