Practice Policies

  • We encourage swimmers to attend as often as possible. The more they come to practice, the more they will learn and practice their strokes. If swimmers cannot make it to practice every day, that’s okay.
  • During practices, caregivers are welcome to stay at the pool. If you drop off, an adult must be available to pick up your child when practice is over.
  • Please do not talk with the coaches during a practice. If you need to speak with coaches, send them an email to schedule time away from practice. Coaches need to focus on the swimmers during practice time.
  • Please do not talk with your children when they are practicing. Coaches have only a small amount of time to work with your children.
  • Swimmers are only allowed in the pool during their designated practice time. If not practicing, they need to let the coaches work with swimmers in the water.
  • Swimmers and families must adhere to the Inwood Hollow HOA Pool Polices for all attendees. This includes monitoring and managing siblings/friends who may be using the small, open swim area and playground.
  • There are NO lifeguards monitoring the small, swim area of the pool. The responsibility for this area is on the parents and adults at the pool.
  • We will have practice if there is a light rain. If it is thundering or lightning, practice will be cancelled. Please subscribe to the text alert for updates.
  • If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to talk with the coaches after practice or through e-mail. Coaches are open to all feedback and suggestions!
